Gunter’s 40 year career in the building and construction industry has seen it all! He started his apprenticeship in Germany and on returning to Australia he used his skills as shopfitter in large commercial projects around Sydney. Gunter’s dream though was realised when he and his wife started their own building business in 1978. Almost 30 years later Schmid Constructions is still running successfully. Most of the projects are still of a similar nature to what they started doing 30 years ago, extensions and renovations to homes around Sydney. With a formula, team and experience that works, each project is handled with the same expertise and confidence that makes Schmid Constructions one of the best choices when it comes to renovating your home.
